Overview

A potato peeling machine (commonly referred to as a commercial potato peeler) is an industrial food processing unit designed to rapidly wash and remove the skin from potatoes and other root vegetables like carrots or ginger.

These machines replace tedious manual labor in commercial kitchens, chips manufacturing plants, and catering operations.
The Abrasive Carborundum Disc: Inside the main cylinder is a rapidly rotating bottom plate coated with an abrasive material (usually emery or silicon carbide).

Centrifugal Motion: As the disc spins, centrifugal force pushes the potatoes against the abrasive walls of the drum. This friction gently and uniformly grinds off the thin outer skin without bruising or wasting the inner flesh.

Water Flushing System: A built-in water inlet constantly sprays water into the drum. This lubricates the process, instantly washes away the peeled skins, and flushes the waste out through a drainage outlet at the bottom.
